Launching Java

in Vista is a technology for creating interactive or dynamic web content such as games or advanced financial applications. Java programs are automatically downloaded to your computer when you use them.
To run Java programs in Internet Explorer, you need to install and enable special Java software, such as: Learning languages. This article describes how to enable Java after installing the Java virtual machine in Internet Explorer.
Operation Steps
Please download and install the Java software before doing the following: Sun (China) Free Download
Click "Start" → "Control Panel" → "Network and Internet", click "Internet" Option". As shown in Figure 1 Internet Options:

Under the Internet Options window, click the Advanced tab.
If Java is already installed, there will be a "Java(Sun)" option in the "Settings" list: To enable Java, check "Use JRE 1.6.0 for (requires restart)" Check box. To disable Java, do not check the box for "Use JRE 1.6.0 for (requires restart)." Once you're done, click the "OK" button. As shown in Figure 2 Java (Sun):
