Norton Security Status

on the Vista sidebar This article describes tips for displaying Norton security status on the Windows Vista sidebar, allowing you to monitor your system for immediate security.
Operation Steps
Click “Start” → “All Programs” → “Norton Internet Security” and click “Norton Internet Security”. As shown in Figure 1 Norton Internet Security:

In the "Norton" window, click on "Options" and select "Norton Protection Center". As shown in Figure 2 Norton Protection Center:

In the Norton Protection Center Options window, select the checkbox for Show Norton Security Status on the Windows Sidebar. Then click the "OK" button. Figure 3 shows the Norton security status on the Windows Sidebar shown:

will now appear on the Windows Vista Sidebar Norton security status icon on the Windows Sidebar . As shown in the sidebar of Figure 4:
