Using a mobile hard disk instead of a DVD disc to install Vista

Without a DVD burner, if you want to install a single-system Vista, you can put the installation files on the mobile hard disk, and start the computer from the mobile hard disk to install Vista! The effect of this installation is the same as booting from a CD.
1. Activate a mobile hard disk partition with enough space under XP (in the "Disk Management" of computer management, right click on the required partition and select "Mark disk partition as active");
2. Use DaemonToolsT to copy all the files on the CD to the mobile hard disk;
3. Run X:\\boot\\bootsect /nt60 x: at the command prompt of XP. (X is the mobile hard disk drive letter) This step is Let the mobile hard disk become a bootable partition
4. Restart the computer and set the first boot to USB boot in the CMOS settings.
5. Boot smoothly with the mobile hard disk and start installing Vista. This process is the same as CD-ROM installation. You can format your C drive and install it as a single system.
