Multi-category search with Vista natural language selection

Windows Vista's search function is quite powerful, but if we need to search for two different formats at the same time, then I am afraid it is not so easy. In fact, we can use Windows Vista's “natural language selection” to achieve multi-category searches, such as searching for “two files in different formats” under a certain path “<*.doc” and“*.rar” Specific steps are as follows.

Step 1: Enable natural language selection

Open the search browser, press the “Alt” key to activate the menu bar, select “Tools →Folder Options”, open “ Folder Options & rdquo; dialog box, switch to the "Search" tab, check the "Use natural language selection" check box here, as for other options can be set according to their actual situation.

Step 2: Search using natural language

Enter “doc or rar” in the search box's "Name" text box or the search box in the upper right corner, here &ldquo ;or” is a kind of natural language, which means the meaning of the connector "or"; after execution, you can see the search results as shown in the figure, and use the format in the "Start Search" box. Similar results can be obtained.

In fact, we can use when searching for & ldquo; and & rdquo; and other natural language, I believe we can greatly improve search efficiency, and interested friends try.
