Windows Vista SP1 boot black screen flashing resolution

Microsoft Vista SP1 has been released for some time, I believe that many upgraded Vista users have encountered some strange problems more or less, and even some people are reflected in the installation of Vista SP1 In the future, many exe programs can't be executed (please click to view the detailed article). The specific reason can't be determined for the time being. Fortunately, the author's Vista does not have such a problem after installing Service Pack1, and everything is normal!

But the author's computer has always had a very strange phenomenon before Vista SP1 is installed, and many forum users have also reflected the same problems as me. The specific performance: after the user logs in, after the desktop appears The screen will always flash automatically on the black screen several times. It feels like the power of the screen is cut off. The icon and time of the right lower tray will also appear a little bit of problems, and some hidden tray icons will be displayed again.

The author also searched for countless Vista forums, but I have not found the reason for the above problems, so I have to endure the black screen of the screen every time I turn it on...

But I installed Vista After SP1, the problem suddenly disappeared! It seems that Vista SP1 helped me solve it. After the author's careful search and observation of the system's subtle changes, the real reason was found by me. First of all, the author's computer is a notebook, the graphics card is the motherboard integrated X3100, installed a newer version of the driver provided by Intel (7.14.10.1437)

The default is "screen adaptation" settings as shown below:

The screen adaptation mode is selected as "full screen"

But when I select the desktop center mode, the black screen flashes again! The original culprit was him!

The culprit of black screen flicker: "Centering" in screen adaptation mode

The original black screen flicker is caused by the system automatically adjusting the adaptation mode, and Vista SP1 changes my default mode. Into the "full screen" mode without problems. However, such a "full screen" mode is not good for widescreen users. That is, when playing a lot of games, such as running a kart, the picture will be severely distorted. It seems that there must be a loss, but I hope that all problems can be solved thoroughly in the future.
