Bootable 180M: Vista Beta2 Extreme Optimization

The author's Vista 5384 (ie: Vista Beta 2) has been optimized to 20 processes. Take up 180M of memory. In normal use, the memory will not exceed 350M.

Now post the pictures and share the basic skills of these initial optimizations. It should be noted that the author's Internet access method is route setting, so the optimization of the network may not be suitable for everyone. Please try to adjust the process yourself.

1. Shutdown Shutdown Start-Run-powercfg -h off.

2. Turn off system restore. As shown below.

3. Adjust the page file location to non-XP and Vista system disks.

4. Optimize the appearance settings in my computer's properties menu, as shown below.

5. Optimize Startup Options Start-Run-msconfig, as shown below.

6. Optimize the input method options, keep what you like, and delete others.

7. Optimize the start menu and increase the run. Right click on the toolbar - Properties - Start Menu - Custom Add one by one.
