Cause Analysis:
1. The hard disk setting in BIOS is incorrect.
If the hard disk parameters are not set correctly in the BIOS, then you will be prompted during the installation. Not a hard drive.
2. Hard disk cable is loose
Because the hard disk cable is loose, the hard disk will not be recognized correctly when the computer is turned on.
Workaround:
1 Manually identify the hard disk in the BIOS
Step 1: After restarting the computer, press the corresponding button to enter the BIOS (usually Delete or F2).
Step 2: Select the “ Main & rdquo; menu.
Step 3: If it is an IDE hard drive, then select the “ Pirmary IDE Master ” and “ Primary IDE Slave & rdquo; menu and press Enter. If it's a SATA hard drive, try selecting the menu from & ldquo; SATA 1 & rdquo; to & quoquo; SATA 6 & rdquo; and press Enter (Figure 1).

Step 4: Set all the options in the selection interface to “ Auto & rdquo; (Figure 2).

Step 5: Save the BIOS settings, save the BIOS settings, please refer to section 1.1.5.
2 Reconnect the hard drive data cable
Step 1: Turn off the computer and unplug all the power plugs from the computer.
Step 2: Open the chassis.
Step 3: Carefully unplug the data cable connected to the hard disk.
Step 4: Carefully unplug the data cable connected to the motherboard.
Step 5: Reconnect the data cable firmly.
Step 6: Plug in the cover and plug in the power.
