WinXP does not have permission to view the processing method of the workgroup computer

WinXP's "View Workgroup Computer" allows you to see other working computers belonging to the same LAN. For system administrators, this feature allows it to clearly know who is using the same network cable and can use the LAN. Other users within the share share some resources.
But sometimes when you click “View Workgroup Computer", the system prompts “Unable to access. You may not have permission to use network resources. Please contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access rights”. Obviously, it is already a system administrator. Why do you still encounter such a problem? It is obvious that you are already a system administrator. This only means that some options on the computer have been accidentally disabled.

Workaround:
Start-Run-gpedit.msc
1, Computer Configuration - Windows Settings - Security Settings - Local Policies - User Rights Assignment - Deny access from the network Computer - delete guest user
2, computer configuration - windows settings - security settings - local policy - security options - network access: local account sharing and security mode changed to classic
3, computer configuration - windows settings - Security Settings - Local Policies - Security Options - Accounts: Allow local logins with blank passwords to allow console logins to be disabled.
The above problems are usually encountered due to some software modifications to the system in order to speed up the system. Some services that are considered useless can be re-configured in the computer configuration. In this way, under WinXP, you can re-view the workgroup computer as an administrator and perform related operations.
