The specific method:
Search for corrupted files in the Windows XP installation disk, it should be noted that the last character of the file name is replaced by the bottom line <;&", for example: if you want to search “Notepad. Exe” you need to search with “Notepad.ex_”.
Search for the required files
After searching, open the command line mode (enter “cmd”) in "run" and enter: “full path to the full path target file of the EXPAND source file&rdquo ; For example: EXPAND D:\\SETUP\\NOTEPAD.EX_ C:\\Windows\\NOTEPAD.EXE. One thing to note is that if there are spaces in the path, you need to include the path in double quotes (quotation marks).
The search is of course the best, but sometimes we can't find the files we need when searching on the Windows XP disk. One reason for this is that the file you are looking for is in the "CAB” file. Since Windows XP treats "CAB" as a folder, for Windows XP, just drag and copy the "CAB” file right and copy it to the appropriate directory.
