1, ordinary built-in optical drive boot system

When the average user uses the computer, usually the boot item should be placed in the "HDD-0" option to boot the computer at the fastest speed. However, once the system crashes, you need an optical drive to boot the system. How should it be set?

Step 1, enter the BIOS setup interface

Start the computer, press the "DEL" button to enter the motherboard BIOS interface.

Step 2, Set Basic Steps

Select “Advanced BIOS Features” and select “Boot Sequence” in the “Advanced BIOS Features” page. ) Figure:

Press the "Enter" button to enter the "Boot Sequence" interface, there is a "1st/2nd/3rd Boot Device" option, (first /second /third boot device), this item allows you to set the order of the BIOS to load the boot device of the operating system, select "1st Boot Device", such as: Figure 2

The following settings are available:

The Floppy system first attempts to boot from a floppy drive.

The LS120 system first attempts to boot from the LS120.

The HDD-0 system first tries to boot from the first hard drive.

The SCSI system first attempts to boot from SCSI.

The CDROM system first tries to boot from the CD-ROM drive.

The HDD-1 system first tries to boot from the second hard drive.

The HDD-2 system first tries to boot from the third hard drive.

The HDD-3 system first tries to boot from the fourth hard drive.

The ZIP system first tries to boot from ATAPI ZIP.

The LAN system first tries to boot from the network.

Select "CDROM", use CD-ROM to install the system, press ESC to return to the BIOS main menu, select "SAVE & EXIT SETUP" to save and exit the BIOS setup environment, put the system boot CD, re- Start the computer and you can implement the CD boot system.

Tip: Depending on the boot device installed on your computer, the optional devices that appear in the "1st/2nd/3rd Boot Device" option are different. For example, if your system does not have a floppy drive installed, the “Floppy” setting will not appear in the boot sequence menu.
