Several common software sequelae repair methods (1)

Using a computer is software, so we often install and uninstall a variety of new software, but the installation and uninstall process often leave a "sequel" to the system. How to fix these sequelae? Chinese traditional Chinese medicine pays attention to "looking, smelling, asking, and cutting". For the sequelae left by software, you can also learn a part:

1 "Wang" is to see the abnormal changes brought by the software to the system;

2 "Q" is to ask (or recall) the various operations performed before the symptoms occur, to find out the cause of the symptoms;

3 "cut" is based on the specific performance of the symptoms, open a prescription repair system ( However, Windows is colorless and tasteless, and "smell" can be avoided.)

Below we combine several common software sequelae to introduce specific repair methods.

Example 1: Unsuccessfulness of Uninstalling One-Click Restore Wizard

Symptom: After deleting the One-Click Restore Wizard, “*Press [F11] to Start recovery system*” will still appear every time you turn on the power. The hint while simultaneously finding a 4GB hidden partition on the hard drive is inaccessible.

Cause: After installing the OneKey Restore Wizard installed version, it will automatically draw a hidden partition in the last partition of the hard disk, and change the hard disk master boot record. The extra master boot record is due to incorrect uninstallation. The key is restored, but the hidden partition will remain even if it is properly uninstalled.

Prescription:

1. Fix the master boot record. First install a virtual floppy disk such as Vfloppy on the system. After rebooting, select "Start by virtual boot floppy disk" in the multiple boot menu, enter DOS, and then type "fdisk /mbr" at the prompt to rewrite the hard disk master boot record.

Note:

The above command will rewrite the hard disk master boot record. It is best to back up the boot record and partition table with Diskman before operation to avoid accidents.

2. Fix hidden partitions. Click Start/Run, enter compmgmt.msc, in the open computer management window, click Disk Management, then select the hidden partition labeled "IBM_SERVICE", right-click and select "Delete Disk Partition". Delete this partition, then re-create the partition and format it to access (see Figure 1).

Tip:

If you install a one-click restore personal version, it will generate a "yjbf" folder in the last partition, and The special subfolder under which "g." is generated stores the image. This subfolder cannot be deleted normally. You can start the command prompt, then use the CD command to locate yjbf, and then type "rd /s g\\" to delete this special folder.

Experience: Some software will modify the hard disk master boot record, boot sector, partition table, boot menu, and must do the backup of the above components before installing such software. Similar software includes system command (change boot record), system recovery console (change multi-boot menu), and fix it according to specific symptoms in the aftermath. For example, the partition table repair can be restored by using the backup that has already been made. The residual multi-boot menu can be repaired by modifying C:\\boot.ini.

Example 2: Cannot enter the desktop after installing IE7 cracked version

Symptom: After installing IE7 cracked version, restart and found that it can't enter the desktop, the system prompts that normal.dll cannot be found (see Figure 2). .
