winXP dual system simple sharing RSS reader

If you install FeedDemon separately in Windows XP and Vista dual systems, even if you specify the installation path of the software as the same directory, when adding, deleting channels or updating channel content in one system, you can still not in another system. This is reflected in the fact that the cache used by FeedDemon to save channel updates is set in the current user configuration directory of the system. So, how can we achieve a dual system sharing FeedDemon?

Note: FeedDemon (download address: http://www.mydown.com/soft/260/260567.html) is a powerful RSS reader.

First, export the list of FeedDemon channels that have been set up in Windows XP system by executing “File→Export Feeds” in the main window of the program and saving the channel list as Feed.opml. Then, create a new directory for saving the cache in other partitions, for example, "E:\\Temp\\FeedDemon\\v1", execute "File→Manage Cache" from the main FeedDemon window, click "Change", and point the cache folder to the front. Create the directory, select "Move cache to new location, then delete existing cache" in the pop-up window (move the cache to the new location, then delete the existing cache).

After the above settings are completed, install FeedDemon on the Vista system. Open the main window of the program and execute “File→Import Feeds” to import the previously saved Feed.opml file. Similarly, execute "File→Manage Cache" to point the cache folder to "E:\\Temp\\FeedDemon\\v1" (Figure 1).

Select a good path

Select "Change location of cache, but don't copy or move anything" in the pop-up window (change the storage location of the cache, but do not copy or move any Document, Figure 2). In this way, when FeedDemon in a system adds, deletes, or updates channel content, it will be reflected in the FeedDemon of another system. Is it convenient?
