WinXP: Easily restore the "Show Desktop" button

The "Show Desktop" button in the "Quick Start" bar is different from the usual shortcuts. If you accidentally delete the "Show Desktop" button, it can't be recovered in the usual way.

To restore the Show Desktop button in the Quick Launch bar, you need the following method.

Open the "Notepad" program and enter the following content:

[Shell]

Command=2

IconFile=explorer.exe,3

[Taskbar]

Command=ToggleDesktop

Then save this file as: "Show Desktop.scf", you must confirm the file name is the same as in double quotes. Then copy the saved Show Desktop.scf file to the "C:Documents and Settings username Application Data Microsoft Internet Explorer Quick Launch" directory. You need to replace the "username" with the username you need to restore the "show desktop" button.
