Teach you to know the security of Windows XP account

I believe many people are not very clear about the Windows XP account problem, in fact, Windows XP account has two major problems, the following small series will take you to get to know it.

Q: One step in installing Windows XP is to create a new user, otherwise the installer will not be able to continue. However, I want to log in to the system directly with the Administrator account. What should I do? If I have to create a new account, can I still log in to the system automatically using the Administrator account?

A: Windows XP does not recommend users to use the Administrator account. For daily operations, if you do not want to create a new account when you install the system, only press the Reset button in this step to restart the computer (does not have much impact on the system). If you feel that this method is too "barbaric", you can also use the automatic installation answer file to install the system. However, it is complicated to implement and this method is not recommended. If you want to use the Administrator account to automatically log in to the system after creating another account, you can run “control userpasswords2”, in the pop-up window, select “To use this machine, the user must enter the username and password” this option, then In the pop-up "Automatic login" dialog box, enter the Administrator account and password, click “ OK & rdquo;

Security Issues in the Administrator Account

Q: My system is Windows XP SP2. I used to log in using the built-in Administrator account. I heard that this is easy to attack the system. Is this true? Later I created a new administrator account, there is no Administrator account on the login interface, and the files on the original desktop cannot be seen. Is there any way to log in or view the original desktop file with the built-in account?

A: Just setting a strong password for the Administrator account does not pose a big security risk. When you create an account for another administrator group in Windows XP, the system's built-in Administrator account will disappear from the welcome screen. If you only use the account once in a while, you can press the “Ctrl+Alt+Del” key twice on the welcome screen. The system will open the login dialog box and enter the Administrator account and password to log in.

Now I understand the Windows XP account problem has a deeper understanding of the operating system or the computer used by myself? As long as you take a good look at the tutorial, it is not impossible to become a computer master.
