WinXP right click to add "copy /move to folder" tips

Some users who use WinXP system often need to copy or move files in their work, but they don't like to use shortcut keys. They usually use the mouse to operate. At this point, we can add “copy/move to folder' in the right-click menu for easy work.

Here's how:

1. Open “Run”, enter “regedit” to open the registry.

2, in the Registry Editor, open the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT \\ AllFilesystemObjects \\ shellex \\ ContextMenuHandlers \\, and then click the right mouse button on the key, select & ldquo; New & rarr; key & rdquo; (as shown below), Name the item ""{C2FBB630-2971-11D1-A18C-00C04FD75D13}" (without double quotes), this is to add the “copy to folder“ menu in the right mouse button menu.

3, similar to the second step, also right click on the key value of HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\\AllFilesystemObjects\\shellex\\ContextMenuHandlers\\, select “New → Item”, and name the item as “{ C2FBB631-2971-11D1-A18C-00C04FD75D13}" (without quotes), this is to add the “move to folder“ menu in the right mouse button menu.

4, close the registry editor, select the file to be operated, click the right mouse button, you will see two more options, respectively, "copy to folder" and "moved to Folder & rdquo; (as shown below). Select one of the actions, a window will pop up to select the target folder (you can also click the “New Folder” button to create a new folder), you can confirm it.

above steps a bit more, but not complicated, mainly to look for when looking for an accurate registry on the line. If you feel that the list is too long after setting it, then clean up the right-click menu yourself.
