Common Fault 2: Scanner Not Found

Common fault three: the output image color is not gorgeous enough

In the case of such a fault, we can first adjust the brightness, contrast and gamma value of the display. The higher the Gamma value, the richer the level of perceived color. Of course, in order to get better results, you can also adjust the Gamma value in Photoshop and other software, but this is “after the adjustment”, we can adjust the Gamma value according to the specific conditions of the scanned photos. In the software that comes with the scanner, the Gamma value is usually set to 1.4 for general use, 1.8 for printing, and 2.2 for web pages. Common Fault 4: The color of the scanned image is blurred

First, check if the flat glass on the scanner is dirty. If so, please use a clean cloth or paper. Wipe clean, taking care not to rub with liquids such as alcohol, which will make the scanned image appear iridescent. If it is not a glass problem, please check the resolution of the scanner. For example, a 300dpi scanner will blur the image above 1200dpi. Because the 300dpi scanner sweeps 1200dpi is equivalent to putting a point four times larger. Also, check if the monitor settings are 16bit or more. If you scan some prints, it is understandable that there is a certain amount of blur caused by the texture.
