Break through the number of XP custom folders

In Windows XP, you can customize settings for each folder, such as background images, file display methods, and so on. But over time, you may find that some folders no longer display custom settings, in fact, this is a limitation of Windows XP itself. In the case that SP2 is not installed, Windows XP can only remember the custom settings of 400 folders at most, and can store 5000 after installing SP2. We can make the system support more custom folders by modifying the registry. Run “Regedit”Open the Registry Editor and navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsShellNoRoam. If SP2 is already installed on your system, you can see a DWORD value named “BagMRU Size” on the right, double-click “BagMRU Size” and change its value to the desired value. If you don't have SP2 installed, you won't have this DWORD value here. We can create one ourselves and follow the above steps.

Tip: The value of “BagMRU Size” is hexadecimal by default. When modifying the value, it is better to use “ld”; decimal, enter data in decimal format for us. More convenient and more intuitive (pictured).
