VM6.0 virtual machine

installed under WinXP system 1. Introduction to virtual machine

Virtual machine, as the name suggests, is a virtual computer. This virtual computer is almost identical to the real computer. The hard drive is virtualized in a file, so you can modify the settings of the virtual machine at will, without worrying about the loss of your computer. The virtual machine has its own CPU, motherboard, memory, BIOS, graphics card, hard disk, optical drive, floppy drive, network card, sound card, serial port, parallel port and USB.

Second, Vmware excellent website introduction

Vmware is a "virtual PC" software. It allows you to run two or more Windows, DOS, and LINUX systems simultaneously on a single machine. VMWare takes a completely different concept than the "multi-start" system. A multi-boot system can only run one system at a time, and the machine needs to be restarted when the system switches.

VMWare is really "and at the same time" running, multiple operating systems on the main system platform, just like standard Windows applications. And each operating system you can perform virtual partitioning and configuration without affecting the data of the real hard disk. You can even connect several virtual machines with a network card as a LAN through the network card, which is extremely convenient.
