XP system cannot access Windows7 shared folder

The XP system computer cannot access the Windows 7 shared folder. Some can see the shared directory under Windows 7, but once it enters the directory, it will prompt that there is no access.

Solution:

Go to “Network and Sharing Center'; set it up and turn off Windows Firewall. Although there is an insecure risk to doing so, in order to achieve mutual access between different systems, it is only a last resort.

After closing the Windows Firewall, the next step is to go to the "Advanced Settings" on the left side of the firewall settings interface, and modify the "Inbound Rules" and "Outbound Rules". In both rules, find the <;File and Printer Sharing" option and set all of its options to “Allow all connection”.

After completing the above settings, go to “User Accounts” and open the “Guest” account and open the corresponding sharing function in the system service.
