Windows XP SP3 patch package integration and engraving method

1, copy the files from the original disc to the hard disk:

In the root directory of the C drive (or in other partitions, this article is in the C drive Directory as an example) Create a folder named "WinXP" and copy all the files in the XP SP2 original CD (XP or XP SP1 CD has not been tested, it should be easy to use) to "C:WinXP".

2, integrated SP3 patch:

Download windowsxp-kb936929-sp3-x86-chs.exe patch to the root directory of the D drive, enter "Start" - "Run" in the d :windowsxp-kb936929-sp3-x86-chs.exe /integrate:c:WinXP, enter, the system will start to integrate SP3. After a few tens of seconds, the hints are integrated.

3. Extract the boot file from the original CD:

Start UltraISO and select the menu "Start Disc" - "Extract Boot File from CD/DVD". In the "CD-ROM drive", select the CD-ROM drive with the original CD, enter "c:xpboot.bif" in the "Output Image File Name", and click the Make button to extract the boot file from the original CD.

4. Burn the Windows XP installation CD with SP3 integrated with NERO:

Start Nero Burning Rom and select the CD type as "CD-ROM (boot)" in the "New Edit" window ( Some are CD-ROM (boot), first set in the "Startup" tab: select "image file" in "bootable image file location", then enter c:xpboot.bif (this is the previous step Proposed guidance file). Check "Turn on advanced settings (for advanced users only!)", then select "No virtual" in "Virtual Type" and change the value of "Number of loaded sectors" to 4.

Next, enter the volume label of the original Windows XP CD in the "ISO 9660" tab of the "Label" tab (the same as the original disc, you can use another name).

Then in the "Burn" tab settings, check the "End disc (can not be written)", so that this disc can no longer write to the content, to prevent accidental damage to the disc. Select "Disc One Shot" in "Write Method".

Finally, click the "New" button, drag all the contents of c:WinXP to Nero Burning Rom, click the menu "burner - burn compile...", pop up "burn compile" Window, click the "Burn" button and start burning.

At this point, an installation CD with integrated SP3 is complete.
