Locate the key value HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Setup, select "New" → "String Value" in the "Edit" menu, and set the value of the value. Take "BootDir" and click the "OK" button.

Mouse "Right click" Double-click the newly created "BootDir" to edit the string. In the Edit String dialog box, enter the drive letter of your system, usually the C drive (C:\\). After inputting, click the “OK” button and save, then close the registry.
