An alternative way to fix home page settings under XP

Frequent Internet access, inevitably encounter malicious web pages. One day, open IE and find that the homepage has been changed. Go to "Internet Options" and change the homepage to "www.45it.com" and return to IE. Then click the Home button and find that the homepage is still a malicious website address! So go to the registry to find the key value all modified, and then back to IE, the home page is still a malicious website address! I had to ask for the "Super Rabbit Magic Settings" to fix it, and it was equally unsuccessful.

After being troubled by this problem for many days, I accidentally log in to the system with another user name. When I use IE, I found that the homepage is set up normally! Then inspiration, delete the original user, re-create the user name and password (same as the original) under Windows XP, log in to the system, set the IE home page, and then copy the configuration information from the original system to the new system (such as desktop files, favorites) Clips, etc.), the problem is solved. It seems that when we encounter problems, we can't just consider them in one direction. It may be confusing to change the angle.
