When adding or removing components in Windows XP, we generally use "Add/Remove Windows Components" in the Control Panel to complete, because Windows will list most of the items that can be added or removed in the "Windows Components Wizard". 1, open the resource Manager, browse to "C:\\Windows\\Inf", if your Windows is installed in another folder, such as "D:\\winxp", browse to "D:\\winxp\\Inf". If you don't see this "Inf" folder, you need to select the menu "Work?" in the Explorer. 2, locate the file "Sysoc.inf" in the above folder , select it, and press Ctrl+C to copy, then press Ctrl+V to paste, so that there is a “copy Sysoc.inf” in the folder as a backup of the original file. If you want to change back to the original settings, you can Delete the modified "Sysoc.inf" and then change the "Copy Sysoc.inf" name back to "Sysoc.inf".
