Four strokes allow the keyboard to automatically enable

when the computer is turned on.

Many people use the numeric keypad when entering the password on the Windows XP login interface. However, the keypad light does not light up in many cases, so press it every time. Yes, is it very troublesome? Let me tell you the comprehensive solution.

Method 1, do not do anything after entering the desktop, press the Num Lock light, then turn off the system, and then try again. In addition, if the system has a password, do not enter when logging in to enter the user name and password, first press the Num Lock light, then click to shut down the system, and then restart. (This method is strongly recommended to try first).

Method 2, open the registry editor, find HKEY_USERS\\.DEFAULT\\Control Panel\\Keyboard, change the key value of InitialKeyboardIndicators below it to “2”, exit the registry editor, restart the computer You will find that the lights on the numeric keypad are no longer extinguished.

Method 3, only need to operate a small surgery on the config.sys file to achieve this purpose. The setting method is as follows:

1. Click the “Run” command in the “Start” menu, then type “sysedit” in the "open” box, press the Enter key. Open the “System Configuration Editor” window.

2. Click the “Config.sys” title bar to switch it to the current editing window, then type the “NumLock=ON” line command in the editing area.

3. Save the changes and close the "System Configuration Editor" window.

Method 4, first set the NumLock item to Enable in the BIOS, and then set the PnPWithOS item to Enable in the BIOS. However, when the user is logged off, the NumLock keypad lock is closed and should be opened manually.
