Speed up the running speed for your WinXP slimming

Windows XP installation takes up about 1.5GB of hard disk space, can it let it catch up with the trend, thin body? follow me.
1. Delete unused input methods Under Windows XP, there are several input methods that we don't need at all, such as Japanese and Korean input methods. To delete it, go to "Control Panel → Date, Time, Language and Regional Settings → Regional and Language Options", select the "Language" tab, remove the hook in front of "Install files for East Asian languages", click "OK" Follow the prompts to remove the unwanted language options. After restarting, delete the three folders "chtime", "imjp8_1" and "imkr6_1" directly under the "WINDOWS\\ime" folder (they correspond to Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean). This will release about 85MB of hard disk space. 2. Clear the system temporary file. In the "\\Documents and Settings\\username\\LocalSettings\\Temp" directory (the default is the hidden directory), the temporary folder and the discarded document left during the software installation or runtime are stored. , you can empty this directory. If you are doing this for the first time, it is possible to release hundreds of MB of hard disk space. Note: This trick can be used frequently. 3. Delete system file backup Enter the "WINDOWS\\system32\\dllcache" directory (the default is the hidden directory), which stores about 360MB files, which are backups of Windows XP system files. When the system files of Windows XP are replaced, deleted or modified, the system can automatically extract the corresponding system files for restoration, thus ensuring the stability of the system. If you have a Windows XP installation CD or have copied the installation files to your hard drive, you can delete this folder. Note: This folder cannot be deleted directly. To delete it, type "sfc.exe /purgecache" (note the space before the slash) at the command prompt.   4. Delete the driver backup   Windows XP comes with a large number of hardware drivers, when the detection of new hardware, the system will automatically extract the appropriate driver to install. In fact, in most cases we rarely change our hardware configuration, so you can delete the driver backup file if you have determined that all the hardware drivers you need are already installed. Go to the "WINDOWS\\Driver Cache\\i386" directory and find the compressed file named "Driver.cab" and delete it. This will release about 73MB of hard disk space. If the system cannot find the driver when installing new hardware later, it can be extracted from the installation CD.
